Renegade: A Dual Sired Litter

A dual sired litter is accomplished by breeding the female to two different stud dogs, usually from different lines. Its purpose is to hopefully produce pups from both sires, with the intent to expand the genepool faster as well as limit the number of litters the female delivers. It is a practice that is approved of by the AKC as well as several other registeries. The pups from this litter will be DNA tested between 3-4 weeks of age to determine parentage.

Before and After

Rayne delivered her pups easily and without complications. The first pup arrived late on May 25, 2010 followed by the rest of the siblings. Everyone was here and accounted for by 3:30 AM on May 26th.
BelleGrace welcomes into the world 6 beautiful girls and 2 handsome boys, all deep rich pigmented sables. Both plush and smooth coats are anticipated.
